Red Cherry neocaridina shrimp in a planted aquarium
Neocaridina davidi

Red Cherry

About this variety

The original aquarium neocaridina. Red Cherry shrimp were among the first colour variants developed, and they've earned their status as the go-to beginner shrimp. Cherry-grade individuals show solid red on most of the body, while higher grades - Sakura and Fire Red - display deeper, more uniform colour with red on the legs and underbelly. Hardy, prolific, and peaceful, they're an excellent starting point for anyone new to the hobby and a lively addition to any planted tank.
